Description
Design #2044 on a square pouch of approximately 8 by 8 inches. The reasoning behind the item is simple, and most men arrive at it the same way: after years of pulling a creased gartel out from under a siddur, they decide it ought to have somewhere of its own to live.
Eight inches square is the right footprint for a rolled gartel. It goes in coiled and comes out coiled, and because the pouch is a defined square it stacks flat against the inside wall of a tallis bag rather than rolling into the middle of everything. The ends of a gartel, which are the first part to fray, stay protected inside instead of catching on a zipper.
