Description
The Brown Linen Kippah with Brown Leather Rim is a four-panel chocolate linen yarmulke for men and boys, sold in 9 sizes at $9.99. The crown is a mid chocolate-brown linen with an even, visible basket weave. It is bound with a smooth leather rim a few shades darker, an espresso brown with a slight sheen, so the edge is defined by depth of colour rather than contrast. Inside, the lining carries the size mark and the iKippah logo. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

How this compares
| Kippah | Material | Season / weight | Formality | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brown Linen – Brown Leather Rim (this one) | Linen, leather rim | Spring to autumn | Smart-casual | An all-brown kippah with a darker leather edge |

| Brown Linen Kippah / Yarmulke | Brown linen | Spring to autumn | Casual | Plain brown linen with no leather rim |
Best for
- Earth-tone wardrobes: tan chinos, olive jackets, brown shoes
- A summer kippah that is darker than beige or tan
- Early autumn, when linen still feels right but colours deepen
- Men and boys who prefer brown to black or navy
Not the right choice if
- A shul where black is the rule
- Anyone looking for a contrast edge
- Winter warmth; linen is a light fabric
- Formal black-tie occasions
Why customers choose it
This kippah keeps everything in the brown family: a chocolate linen crown and a deeper espresso leather rim. The result looks rich and considered without any bright accent, and it bridges summer and autumn better than lighter linens. The leather edge helps the soft linen hold a crisp outline.

Frequently asked questions
Is the rim the same brown as the linen?
No, it is a darker espresso leather, so the edge frames the lighter chocolate linen with a subtle tonal step.
How does it compare with the brown linen with camel rim?
The camel-rim version has a lighter, warmer edge that stands out more. This one keeps the look darker and more tonal.
What is shown inside the kippah?
A black lining printed with the size number and the iKippah logo.
Is brown linen suitable for Shabbos?
It is a dressier casual kippah. Many wear brown linen on summer Shabbos; if your shul expects black, keep it for weekdays.
What sizes does the brown linen kippah come in?
The brown linen kippah comes in numbered sizes 1 through 6 and flat cuts of 16, 18 and 20 cm.
