Description
The Gamer Kippah is a black cotton video-game yarmulke for boys, sold in 7 sizes at $9.99. Dozens of game controllers are drawn in thin outline only, in orange, sky blue, lime green, yellow and cream, from modern handheld pads to old rectangular ones with a cross-shaped D-pad. Small clusters of green square pixels fill the space between them. The outline style keeps the black ground visible, so the kippah looks darker and neater than a filled print, and the rim is the same printed cloth. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

How this compares
| Kippah | Material | Season / weight | Formality | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gamer (black) (this one) | Printed cotton | Year-round, light | Casual | A darker, neater game print with no slogans |
| Video Game Kippah – Game Over Controller Print Yarmulke | Printed cotton | Year-round, light | Casual | Filled controllers with slogans on grey |

Best for
- Older boys who want a game theme that still looks tidy
- Purim, as part of a gamer costume
- School, since the black ground hides wear
- Retro fans who will spot the old-style controllers
Not the right choice if
- A toddler; the smallest size is 2
- A formal event or a black-velvet-only school
- You want slogans or bright filled colour; this one is outlines only
- You need a flat size above 18 cm
Why customers choose it
The Gamer kippah takes a popular theme and keeps it low-key. Thin neon outlines on black read almost like a pattern from a distance, and the game controllers only show up close. That makes it easy for an older boy to wear to school without feeling it is too young for him. The mix of new and retro controllers is a nice detail for a child who plays with a parent's old console.
Size guide
| Size | Typical fit |
|---|---|
| 2 | Young child, roughly 4–5 years |
| 3 | Child, roughly 6–7 years |
| 4 | Older child, roughly 8–10 years |
| 5 | Teen and most adult men — the most-ordered size |
| 6 | Larger adult head |
| 16cm Flat | Flat style, 16 cm across — typically child |
| 18cm Flat | Flat style, 18 cm across — typically teen to adult |
Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Gamer print show?
Outlined game controllers in orange, sky blue, lime, yellow and cream, including retro rectangular pads, with small green pixel squares between them.
Is there a size for a toddler?
No. This design starts at size 2, which fits children of about four to five.
Is the Gamer kippah the same as Game Over?
No. Game Over is grey with filled controllers and slogans. Gamer is black with outline drawings and no words.
Is it good for Purim?
Yes. It works well with a gamer or arcade costume, and the neon outlines stand out at a Purim seudah.
How should I clean it?
Spot-clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry flat.
