Description
The Matzah Kippah is a cotton Pesach yarmulke printed to look like a real sheet of matzah, made in 10 sizes at $9.99. The print is photographic: a pale wheat-cream surface with rows of tiny perforation dots and scattered toasted spots in golden and dark brown, just like a baked matzah. On each of the four panels the rows run in a different direction, so from the top they form nested squares that meet at the crown. The rim continues the same matzah texture. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

How this compares
| Kippah | Material | Season / weight | Formality | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Matzah print (this one) | Printed cotton | Pesach | Casual, festive | A playful seder-night kippah |
| Pesach Bear Kippah – Brown Linen Yarmulke | Brown linen | Pesach | Casual | An embroidered bear dressed as Pharaoh |

Best for
- The seder, as a conversation starter for the children
- Family matching sets, from size 1 up to size 7
- A Pesach gift for grandchildren
- Chol Hamoed trips and model seders at school
Not the right choice if
- Year-round wear; it is clearly a Pesach design
- A formal shul on yom tov that expects a dark kippah
- Anyone who finds food prints too silly
- A flat size above 20 cm
Why customers choose it
It makes a lively addition to the seder: children spot the matzah immediately, and it gets the questions flowing. The print is realistic enough that it looks like a real matzah folded over a head. With sizes from toddler to size 7 and three flat sizes, a whole family can wear one at the table. It comes out once a year, which makes it a small tradition of its own.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Matzah kippah look like real matzah?
Yes. It is a photographic print with rows of perforations and toasted brown spots, like a baked sheet of matzah.
Is it only for Pesach?
It is designed for Pesach, the seder and Chol Hamoed. Most families keep it for that week each year.
Can the whole family match?
Yes. Sizes run from 1 for toddlers to 7 for larger adult heads, plus 16, 18 and 20 cm flats.
How is it different from the Pesach Bear kippah?
The Pesach Bear is brown linen with an embroidered bear dressed as Pharaoh. The Matzah kippah is an all-over matzah print.
How do I clean a wine spill?
Blot immediately with cold water and a cloth, then spot-clean with a little mild soap and let it dry flat.
