Description
The Science Chalk Board Kippah is a black cotton yarmulke printed with white chalk-style equations, made for men and boys in 9 sizes at $9.99. The crown looks like a well-used classroom board: sine waves, a triangle, a circle with an arrow, scribbled formulas, small stars and hand-lettered words including Balance, World, Stars and Math. Everything is drawn in white on solid black, so the contrast is sharp. The edge is a narrow black band in the same print. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

- A yeshiva that allows plain black only
- A formal Shabbos or wedding outfit
- Someone who wants Hebrew text; the writing is English and maths symbols
- Buyers expecting a real chalkboard surface; it is a printed cotton
Why customers choose it
Black kippot are the default in many schools, and this one keeps that dark base while adding a print that rewards a closer look: real-looking graphs and formulas rather than generic doodles. The white-on-black contrast is crisp, so the design reads clearly even on a small size. With 9 sizes including a 20cm cut, it works for a young student and the maths teacher standing at the front of his class.

Frequently asked questions
What is printed on the chalkboard kippah?
White chalk-style formulas, sine waves, a triangle, circles with arrows, small stars and handwritten words such as Balance, World, Stars and Math on black.
Does it count as a black kippah for school?
The base is black, but the white print is prominent. If your school requires plain black, choose the Black Cotton Kippah instead.
Is there a larger size for adults?
Yes. Size 5 fits most men, size 6 is for bigger heads, and there are 16cm, 18cm and 20cm flat options.
Would it suit a teacher?
It is popular with maths and science teachers because the print looks like a real classroom board.
How should I wash it?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then air dry. Avoid scrubbing so the white print stays sharp.
