Description
This Yechi Kippah is a black cotton twill yarmulke embroidered in gold Hebrew lettering, available in 10 sizes at $9.99. A band of warm gold thread circles the lower edge with the Yechi text, including the words מורנו ורבינו מלך, in bold square Hebrew letters. The gold stands out strongly against the plain black crown. The four panels are smooth twill and the rim is piped in the same black fabric. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

| Kippah | Material | Season / weight | Formality | Best for |

| Yechi, black cotton, gold (this one) | Black cotton twill | Year-round, light | Everyday | The boldest, most visible lettering |
| Yechi Kippah – Navy Linen Gold Embroidery Yarmulke | Navy linen | Summer | Smart casual | The same gold lettering on navy linen |

Best for
- Those who want the Yechi text clearly visible
- Rallies, farbrengens and group orders
- Everyday wear in a light cotton
- Families, since sizes start at 1 and reach a 24cm flat
Not the right choice if
- Someone wanting the lettering to be subtle
- A velvet Shabbos kippah
- Anyone who wants a kippah without text
- A summer linen feel; this is cotton twill
Why customers choose it
Gold is the classic thread colour for a Yechi kippah because it makes the words easy to read across a room, and here it sits on a plain black cotton that works for every day of the week. Unlike some colourways it starts at size 1, so small boys can match their fathers, and it runs up to 7 and a 24cm flat cut.

Sizing is guidance, not a promise — heads vary. When you are between two sizes, the larger one sits better.
Frequently asked questions
Is the gold thread metallic?
It is a warm yellow-gold embroidery thread, clearly visible against the black cotton.
Is there a toddler size?
Yes. This colourway starts at size 1, while some other black cotton Yechi kippot begin at size 2.
Which Yechi kippah is dressier?
For a dressier look, the green velvet Yechi kippah with white embroidery is the more formal option.
Can I order a group of these?
Yes, and names can be added with embroidery with no minimum order, taking 10 to 14 days plus shipping.
How is it different from the navy linen gold Yechi?
Same gold lettering; the other one is navy linen, which is airier and better for summer.
