Description
Clear lucite in a double frame that folds, design number 331. The double construction is the point: two seforim can be held open at once at a proper learning angle, so a gemara and the artscroll, or a gemara and a Rashba, sit side by side rather than one being shoved off to the edge of the table every time you reach for it.
Being lucite it disappears visually, which matters on a dining room table that is also a learning table, and it does not compete with the seforim resting on it. The frame folds down flat when it is not in use, so it can go into a drawer, into a bag for a shiur, or under an arm on the way to the beis medrash rather than living permanently on the table.
Design 331 also runs on tallis and tefillin bags in the Malchut range. For a man who has been learning off a stack of books propped against each other, a double shtender is the sort of purchase that changes how comfortable a two hour seder actually is.
