David Harris has spent 50 years as a Jewish activist and advocate. Honored 25 times by foreign gov- ernments, he is the most deco- rated Jewish organizational leader in American history. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and London School of Economics, he was a senior associate at St. Antony's College, University of Oxford, and a visiting scholar at Johns Hopkins University, and is the recip- ient of four honorary doctorates, including from Brandeis University in 2022.

Agnieszka Markiewicz, born and raised in Poland, is director of the American Jewish Committee Central European office in Warsaw. A graduate of the University of Warsaw, she has long been involved in expanding and deepening relations among Poland, American Jewry, and Israel, and rebuilding the Jewish community in Poland. She has been involved in the work of Forum for Dialogue, a nongovernmental organization focused on Polish-Jewish dialogue and reconciliation, worked at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, which is dedicated to promoting Polish culture, and serves on the board of the Association of the Jewish Historical Institute in Poland.
