Seeing Good, Not Bad, Changes Sad to Glad! Ahuva Raanan (Hardcover)

A My Toolbox Series book

It was morning,
the start of a new day.
As soon as Rachel opened her eyes, she felt sad.
She didn’t even want to get out of bed.

This beautifully illustrated story brings children’s feelings to life.

Put on rose-colored glasses, and instantly feel happier and think things around you are better.

The eyeglasses in the book give children a sense of control that helps them cope with their feelings of sadness.

My Toolbox

It’s not like the toolbox in your house that holds a hammer and nails and a screwdriver. It’s a toolbox for your mind, body, and emotions.

It includes your thoughts, feelings, and fantasies.

You can take the tool in each book in the series and teach yourself how to use it to feel much better!

Ahuva Raanan

With a master’s degree in special education, Raanan is an educational counselor and consultant (counseling parents how to deal with emotional and behavioral problems in early childhood), a play therapist and CBT therapist who runs a network of special education kindergartens, and serves as regional head for Social Values in the Haredi Division of the Ministry of Education.

Ahuva Raanan’s popular children’s books Stories Straight from Avi’s Heart, Stories Straight from Mommy’s Heart, and Straight from Tammy’s Heart became instant classics and a must for every Jewish home. Now her masterful My Toolbox series gives young children the tools to manage their emotions and succeed in life.
