Dark Secrets in the Far East and the Tefillin that Survived Vietnam

Eli and Rafi were certain they were on the way to a routine vacation in distant China, but from the moment they land – everything becomes dangerous. What starts off as a routine kashrus check in a huge fish processing plant — turns into a maelstrom of clever forgeries, nocturnal surveillance, and international intrigue that threatens everything.
Who is tracking them in the dark alleyways? And what is Willy, slippery manager of the fish production plant, hiding?

While they are still trying to expose the network of lies in China, a chilling mystery pops up from the past: an old pair of tefillin found by surprise casts them decades back to the death tunnels and jungles of Vietnam of 1968/5728, where the secret of Jewish courage that waited fifty years to come to light is found.

The Chinese Connection is a sweeping suspense story in comics form, in which modern espionage meets history. A journey that crosses continents, proving there is one connection that cannot be severed…
