Description
Postwar Italy is going through political upheavals, and everything is "almost." It's almost safe, almost stable, almost under control. The Jewish refugees, under the care of Rabbi Margalios, have almost left the port of Naples for Eretz Yisrael. Almost.
-
The two Italians spying on the ship aren't about to let that ship sail. Their boss, Dr. Francesco, won't hear any excuses. Pandemonium breaks out - a fire on board, a violent demonstration at the port, a stone whistling through the air, and Rabbi Margalios taken to the hospital by force.
- When the Margalios brothers arrive on the scene, they are pulled into a whirlwind of events, all connected to the referendum, in which the people's votes will decide Italy's political future.
- Who is Davis, who comes from abroad to supervise the referendum? How does cranberry poisoning turn into muscle fungus? What's going on in the hospital morgue? When does Ruvy get put into quarantine, and how could it be that going to the police is the most dangerous thing to do?
- History and suspense, friendship and courage, humor and chizuk all wait for you in this book.
-
The Jeweled Sword 6, the sixth volume of the popular series featuring the beloved Margalios boys, sets a new standard for artistry in every detail, an original plot, and colorful inspiration in every panel.
- Another quality production from Studio Rubin.
