The Rosh Hashanah Book brings the story of Rosh Hashanah to life!

Rosh Hashanah is a very special day - it's the birthday of the world!

This beautifully illustrated book takes readers all the way back to the beginning of time and introduces them to Adam, the first human, on the day he was created.

When Adam stood up tall, the animals gathered around in awe, assuming he was their Creator. Adam then realized that he had a responsibility to teach the entire world that everything was created from only one Power.

Rosh Hashanah is a special time when we remember what Adam did. We commit to serve the One Creator and ask for blessings for the entire year.
Each yeari as we celebrate the world's birthday, we get a fresh start to fill our Iives with meaning and purpose and to improve the world with goodness and kindness.

Rosh Hashanah is filled with meaningful traditions that help us celebrate and connect with its deeper purpose. The "How to Celebrate" section illustrates the observances and customs of the Jewish New Year.
