Description
From the Inside Flap
Co-creators of Ourselves
It may seem to be a paradox, but when we give ourselves over to faith in our Source alone, we become 'receptors' of the greatest power of the Universe, the Creator Himself. We are vested with a Divine image, and in this way are empowered to be co-creators in our life's unfolding. We are given the ability to choose.
When man was created, the verse says, "Let Us create man." Who is the plural 'Us'?
This is the Creator talking to you and me and saying, 'Let us together create who you will
become. I am going to give you the context of your life; your family, genetics, your body, and
certain inclinations abd proclivities, but ultimately, you will have to choose how you are going to articulate your life.'
You have choice to rise above or submit to the circumstances given to you. You are empowered to automatically react to events or to intentionally respond to them. The Creator tells us, as it were, 'I gave you the template and the empty canvas, the brushes and every kind of paint.
Through your choices, we will paint together. But ultimately, what that painting becomes is your choice.
You are a co-creator of your experience; you can be what you want to be.
