Description
Tovi Taffy stretches to be happy when things don't go her way, but her twin Tami gets stuck. A birthday trip to the toy store shows Tami how sticky an inflexible attitude can be. Aliza Methal's 27-page rhyming hardcover, illustrated by Chana Min-Hahar, helps children become more resilient and happier.
Meet Tami and Tovi Taffy, a pair of twins who have so much in common…
but not their attitudes.
Tovi Taffy is flexible. If something doesn’t go her way, she can stretch herself and be happy with something else. Tami Taffy, on the other hand, just gets stuck. To her, if something is not exactly how she likes it, then it’s not good at all!
Then the twins’ parents take them to the toy store for birthday presents…and suddenly Tami realizes how difficult and sticky an inflexible attitude can be.
Join Tami Taffy as she learns to overcome inflexibility and become more resilient and happier!
Maybe when there’s something
That doesn’t work out my way,
I can try to enjoy something else…
It can still be a good day!
Includes note to parents with tried-and-true strategies for helping kids learn to be flexible!
