Zaphira Hand-Painted Wood Menorah, Jewel Tones and Rose Gold

Zaphira is a solid wood hanukkiah painted by hand at Eclectic Judaica in a run of gemstone colors: turquoise and sapphire at one end, moving through amethyst, violet and magenta to pink. The shamash stands raised in the middle in rose gold above a small painted dreidel, and the eight candle positions use blue-colored aluminum cups.

At about 16 inches long it is a full-size menorah for a table, mantel or console, and the glossy black base on rose-gold feet makes it read as decor when the candles are not lit. Each one is painted and assembled by hand in small batches, so color and finish vary slightly from the photos.

A household that wants a colorful, modern menorah instead of silver, or a Chanukah, wedding or housewarming gift for someone with a bold decorating style.

Lighting and care

This menorah is made of painted wood, which can burn. Light it on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, keep it clear of curtains, drafts and other flammable items, and never leave lit candles unattended. Do not put it in water or in an oven. Menorah drip cups keep wax off the painted finish.
