The Tools & Method of Torah Investigation, Rabbi Jonathan Taub (Hardcover)

Color War

Why are both of Yaakov's mortal enemies (Lavan and Esav) named after colors? The question is even more significant in light of the fact that these are the only people in the whole of Tanach whose names are colors!"

In this unique work, famed Jerusalem teacher Rabbi Jonathan Taub leads us on a fascinating 'Torah Investigation' of some of the more prominent personalities of the Chumash. Furthermore, this remarkable volume does much more: Using the lives of Yaakov, Lavan and Esav as a backdrop, it lays out a classic yet modern method for the study of Torah. Principles of learning Chumash are clearly outlined and elucidated along the way. Written for beginners and scholars, students and teachers, this enjoyable 'detective story' will forever change the way we learn.
