This engaging curriculum will enable your students to write paragraphs using a hierarchical approach. Students are first taught the three structures of common expository text: descriptive, steps, and list. They also learn to write innovative topics and elaborated details. Students are guided to incorporate transition words that are applicable to the type of expository paragraph they are writing. There are also multiple strategies to develop creative ending sentences. Finally, students are encouraged to use more descriptive sentences using shades of meaning worksheets.
