Description
Rav Shach was the rosh yeshivah of roshei yeshivah, a masmid who gave up regular meals to learn and a gaon in middos known for his sensitivity. When he was niftar, Klal Yisrael felt it had lost a father. Rabbi Avraham Ohayun tells twenty-five stories about him in this 56-page hardcover, illustrated by Tamar Zeitlin.
And Other Stories About Maran Elazar Menachem Mann Shach zt"l
Rav Shach was a true Torah leader in every sense. He was the rosh yeshivah of the roshei yeshivah; the talmid chacham whose Torah knowledge was mind-boggling; the masmid who was happy to give up everything, even regular meals and proper-fitting clothes, in order to learn; the gaon in middos, whose sensitivity to another Jew's feelings shone like the sun. With warmth, love, and insight, Rav Shach guided the Jewish nation for many years, and when he was niftar, Klal Yisrael felt as if they had lost their father.
In this book, you will read twenty-five beautiful stories about Rav Shach. Each story is a gem, providing us with a glimpse of who this tremendous gadol was.
