Description
Elchanan and Ruthi Meet Surprise Land is a rhyming Jewish picture book by Sarah Rivlin about a pair of twins and a very special place. When it is time to clean up the toys, Mommy sits Elchanan and Ruthi down for a story about Surprise Land, where toys, games and prizes are free for the taking, but only once, and only until the timer beeps.
The twins hear about Miri, who did not make the most of her visit, and Gayil, who did. Through their story, children learn a gentle lesson: our time in this world is precious, and the smart thing is to fill it with as many mitzvos as we can. Bright, cheerful illustrations make it an easy read-aloud for ages 3 to 5.
