Folding Menorah Stand — Black
Finished in black, which is the shade that disappears. Seen from the street at night, a black frame reads as shadow and the eye goes straight to the eight flames sitting on top of it, not to the legs holding them up.
It is also the more forgiving colour in use: soot marks, a drip of oil and the scuffs a stand collects being carried in and out of a closet do not show the way they would on white.
The stand folds down flat when Chanukah is over. Set it near a window on the first night, take it apart on the ninth, and store it upright behind a door.
