Description
3-Hour European Shabbos Candles, 72-Count
Seventy-two extra white Shabbos candles, European made, with a three-hour burn. Three hours covers the lighting, the seudah and the singing after it, which is what most people actually need from a Friday night candle.
The point of these is the burn quality. They are made to give a Shabbos table without smoke drifting off the wicks and without the grey haze that a cheaper candle leaves behind on a wall or a ceiling by the end of the winter.
Extra white wax also means the candles look clean in the holder before they are lit, which matters when they are standing on the table all afternoon. Seventy-two to a box is a full season for a household lighting two, and a practical supply for a family lighting for every child.
