Description
Ohr X-Long Shabbos Candles, 5 Hour — 36 Count
Thirty-six extra-long Shabbos candles in one box, each burning approximately five hours. For a table lit with two candles every Friday night that is roughly four months of licht bought in a single box, and more again for a woman lighting on her own.
The extra length is the point. A longer taper carries the full five hours without burning down to the cup early, so the candles are still standing through kiddush and the meal rather than guttering out between courses on a winter Friday night.
The candles are white and come packed flat in the retail box, which stores easily on a shelf between weeks. Ohr is the candle line carried under the Ner Mitzvah label.
