Daled Minim — The Four Species
Every daled minim set is personally bedikah'd by Rabbi Stein before it ships:
- Israeli esrog (Calabria / Teimani) — the classic, most-recommended mehudar
- Moroccan esrog — for those whose minhag is the non-Israeli esrog
- Teimani lulav — thicker, tighter, mamash mehudar
- Complete sets — lulav, esrog, three mehudar hadassim, two kosher aravos, ready to bentch
Sukkah Decorations
Ushpizin posters (Avraham, Yitzchak, Yaakov, Moshe, Aharon, Yosef, Dovid), laminated for years of use. LED sukkah lights kosher for Yom Tov. Paper-chain decorations for the kinderlach. Waterproof tablecloths for when the geshem comes down in the sukkah.
FAQs
How do I pick a mehudar esrog?
No black spots, pitom clean (or naturally absent — fine b'dieved), symmetrical, bumpy (gadol) skin. Our $150+ tier is mamash mehudar min-hamehudar.
Teimani or Polish lulav?
Both kosher. Teimani is thicker, tighter, more mehudar. Polish is the heimish Ashkenazi standard.
Do you deliver daled minim sets?
B"H yes — insured overnight from September 25. Lakewood in-store pickup opens 10 days before Succos, iy"H.
