Design #660, made to order as a haggadah cover. This is a custom piece: the work is done against the order rather than taken off a finished run, which is what puts it in a different class from the standard antique leather covers. The #660 embroidery is carried through consistently, so two pieces bought to the number years apart still line up.

You choose the Mesivta version for men or the Meiros version for women. The Mesivta is the men's cut, sized to the haggadah the baal haseder leads from and the one that takes the most handling over the two nights; the Meiros is the women's. If only one is being ordered, the usual buyer is a man who leads his own table and wants the haggadah in front of him to look the part.

#660 also runs as a matzah cover, which is the natural companion here — the haggadah cover and the matzah cover are the two pieces that sit in view for the whole seder, one in the leader's hands and one in the middle of the table. Ordering them together is the most common way this number goes out.
