Description
The Black Linen Kippah with Brown Rim is a four-panel linen yarmulke for men and boys, sold in 9 sizes at $9.99. The crown is a black linen with a visible slub weave that softens it to a charcoal-black in daylight. The rim is a narrow band of cocoa-brown fabric with a matching woven texture, which reads as a warm outline rather than a bold contrast. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

- Weekday shul and office wear
- Families, with domed sizes 1 to 6 and flats

- A strong contrast; this brown rim is subtle
- A size 7 or a 22 cm flat
- A washable kippah
Why customers choose it
A black linen kippah is a practical warm-weather alternative to velvet, and the brown rim is the detail that makes it feel considered rather than plain. The brown is dark enough to stay understated, so it suits people who want black but like to tie in brown leather accessories. Linen keeps it light and breathable.

Frequently asked questions
Is the rim leather or fabric?
It is a woven fabric band in cocoa brown, with the same linen-like texture as the crown.
How does it differ from the black linen with caramel rim?
The caramel version has a lighter, smoother leather rim. This brown rim is darker, softer and matte.
Is black linen formal enough for Shabbos?
For many people, yes, especially in summer. If your shul expects velvet, save this for weekdays.
What sizes can I choose?
Domed sizes 1 to 6 and 16, 18 or 20 cm flats.
How do I care for linen?
Spot clean with a slightly damp cloth and let it dry flat to keep the dome even.
