Description
The Blue Blots Kippah is a four-panel faded-blue yarmulke for boys and men, sold in 9 sizes (dome 1 to 6 plus 16, 18 and 20cm flat) at $9.99. The fabric is a mid denim blue with a visible diagonal weave, streaked lighter in places like well-worn jeans. Over it float soft, round, pale blue-white blots with fuzzy edges. The rim is a band of the same fabric, and the whole kippah has a washed, summery look. Sold by Judaica Square, shipping from Lakewood, NJ.

Best for
- Boys who live in jeans and want a kippah to match
- Summer camp, trips and Chol Hamoed
- Teens who like a faded, vintage look
- Brothers of different ages, with sizes 1 to 6 and three flat cuts
Not the right choice if
- A dressy navy or black kippah requirement
- Someone who wants a crisp, even colour
- A formal wedding outfit
- Anyone who wants real heavyweight denim
Why customers choose it
This kippah borrows the look of bleach-splashed denim: a streaky mid-blue base with soft pale spots scattered across it. It goes with the jeans and T-shirts most boys wear during the week, and the washed colour hides everyday wear better than a flat pastel. The blots are gentle and evenly spread, so it reads as texture more than as a loud print.

Frequently asked questions
Is this kippah made of denim?
It has the look of faded denim, with a diagonal weave and streaks, but it is a lighter denim-look woven fabric rather than heavy jeans denim.
What are the blots?
Soft, round, lighter blue-white patches with fuzzy edges, like bleach marks on jeans.
Does it come in another colour?
Yes. The Black Blots kippah has the same soft blots on a darker charcoal-grey ground.
Is it good for summer?
Yes. The pale, washed blue looks light and casual in warm weather.
What is the largest size?
Dome size 6, or the 20cm flat for a larger flat kippah.
