Description
Design 228, a small silver lucite holder carrying five white PU leather zemiros. The soft cover is what distinguishes this from the paperback sets: a PU leather bencher has weight and give in the hand, it does not crease when it is closed on a finger, and it will still look right in five years, which a paperback will not.
Five copies rather than ten is a deliberate trade. This is the set for a table that wants better benchers in front of the people sitting at it rather than the largest possible count, and it works well as the core set with cheaper paperbacks brought out only when the table is extended. White covers suit a white and silver table setting, and they show marks less than people fear because PU wipes.
Each copy contains candle lighting, Kiddush, the zemiros of Friday night and Shabbos day, Seder Havdallah, Birchas Hamazon, Sheva Brachos, Al Hamichya, and further songs not limited to Shabbos. Order Ashkenaz or Edut Mizrach as needed. Design 228 runs on other zemiros booklets in the range.
