Medium Shamash Holder
The shamash is the candle you actually handle — lifted, tilted toward eight wicks, then set back down — so it needs to sit tighter than the rest. This holder is built around a pin in the center of the cup that the base of the candle presses onto, locking it in place instead of letting it rattle or lean.
It accepts both medium and large shamash candles, which means one holder covers whichever size you happen to buy this year. Because the candle is held from the center rather than wedged at the sides, it stays upright as it burns down and the last inch does not topple.
A small piece of equipment that quietly solves the most annoying part of the menorah: a shamash that will not stand still.
