Description
Set of Large Shamashim
The shamash is meant to be distinguishable from the eight lights, and the easiest way to do that is size. These are the large shamashim, noticeably taller and heavier than the candles they sit beside, so the menorah reads correctly from across the room.
A set covers the eight nights rather than a single candle, which matters because the shamash is the one candle lit every single night and burned down further than the rest while it is used to kindle the others.
Choose the large set if your menorah is a full-size piece; the standard set suits smaller menorahs and children's menorahs. Judaica Square, Lakewood NJ, free shipping over $75.
