Medium is the compromise size, and for most families it is the right one: about two and a half hours of flame, which carries the menorah through supper and the singing without the extra height and cost of the large cups.
Ner Mitzvah manufactures and ships these itself as an Original OEM product, made to its own quality standards rather than repackaged by a third party. Each of the 44 candles is pre-filled and ready to use, enough for all eight nights with the shamash lit each night.
The bonus travel kit includes matches, a shamash candle, a brochos card and nine rubber bases — set a candle on a base and it can be lit on any flat surface, which solves the problem of Chanukah in a hotel or a seminary dorm.
