Every family has at least one tiny menorah: the one a child made, the travel-size brass one, the little pewter piece on a shelf. Standard Chanukah candles either will not sit in those cups or tip straight out of them. These miniature candles are cut for exactly that problem.
They are small and light enough to double as birthday cake candles once Chanukah is over, which is how most of the leftovers in this pack tend to get used. Because they are short, they burn down quickly, so use them where a long burn is not the goal.
Forty-four candles covers the forty-four lights of a full Chanukah, shamash included, on a single small menorah.
