These are the round floating wicks most families reach for when they light an oil menorah, and they arrive already assembled. The cotton wick is set into the float at the factory, so there is nothing to thread, trim or fuss with while eight people are waiting to light.
Each wick floats flat on top of the oil in a standard glass cup and burns evenly down as the oil is drawn up. Fifty wicks is more than a full Chanukah for one menorah, which needs forty-four lights across the eight nights, so you finish the holiday with spares in the box rather than a midnight trip to the store.
They ship in a clear plastic container that snaps shut, which keeps the unused wicks clean and dry between years instead of loose in a drawer.
