Description
Tzinoros Hameshubach, Large
Nine metal holders and fifty cotton wicks: the holders are the hardware you keep from year to year, and the fifty wicks are the consumable that runs out. Fifty covers a full Chanukah with a generous margin for the ones that get soaked, dropped or lit badly.
Large is the size for full-size oil glasses, the kind that hold enough oil for a long burn. In a cup that size a smaller holder sits low and lets the wick tilt; the large keeps the flame upright and centered over the oil.
Cotton wicks light quickly and burn with a steady flame rather than a smoky one. Seat the wick in the holder, float it on the oil, and it does its job without attention.
