Description
Design #860 in camel antique leather, cut for the Haggadah HaMeforash. The number is worked into the leather rather than sitting on top of it, and the camel tone keeps the whole thing on the quiet side of the line, which suits a man who does not want his haggadah to be the loudest object at his place setting. The antique finish deepens at the edges where the hand rests.
One size, one build, nothing to configure. The practical case for a leather cover on a HaMeforash is simple enough: the sefer is expensive, it is used two nights a year under wine and salt water and children, and then it sits in a closet for eleven months. The cover is what keeps the binding square through all of that, and it makes the sefer easy to pick out on a shelf full of similar volumes.
Malchut builds #860 as a set. The matching Pesach seder set carries the same number, and the design is also made as a matzah cover and in the tallis and tefillin bag range. Buying the haggadah cover first and adding the matzah cover the following year is a normal way into it.
