Description
White antique leather in design #1547, cut in the Kaftor shape. White is the bridal end of this line and the reason so much of #1547 goes out to kallahs — against a white cloth and silver it reads as part of the setting, not as an object placed on it. The antique finish keeps it from being a flat white; there is shading in the seams and at the edges.
One build, nothing to configure. A kallah's first seder in her own home is usually the occasion this is bought for, and the haggadah it goes on is often the one she was given at her wedding. The leather is what keeps that sefer usable for decades rather than retired to a shelf after the corners go — which matters more with a white cover than with a dark one, because a bare binding shows its age fastest against pale.
Design #1547 is also produced as a machzor cover, a siddur cover, a zemiros booklet cover and on chanukah pieces, and it has a men's Mesivta counterpart with fur trim. It is the number to pick if the intention is to keep adding to one design over several years.
