Besomim - Whole Fresh Cloves
Whole cloves are the classic besomim, and there is a reason the minhag settled on them: the scent holds for a long time, it survives being handled week after week, and one deep breath at the end of Shabbos is unmistakable. These are fresh whole cloves, not ground and not a blend.
The container has a wide mouth, which sounds like a small thing until you have tried to shake cloves out of a narrow spice jar in the dark with a havdalah candle burning. Wide opening means you can pour a portion into a besomim holder cleanly, or simply pass the container itself around the table.
Use it to fill a silver besomim box, a wooden holder, or the spice compartment of a havdalah set, and top up when the scent starts to fade.
