Description
Catena, design #980, in linen: a decorative medallion centered on a matte woven face, without the gloss of velvet behind it. The linen keeps the piece understated and lets the medallion do all the ornamental work on its own, which is the point of the collection.
Two sizes to choose from. At 30cm it is the kids size — plain, with no insert pockets. At 40cm it is the bucherim size and ships with one pocket insert. That insert holds the matzos separated and catches the crumbs, which makes the larger size the practical one for anyone actually running the Seder from that cover. A boy home from yeshiva who wants his own setting is the classic buyer for the 40cm.
Malchut also produces #980 as a haggadah cover and in the tallis and tefillin bag line. A matching haggadah cover is the obvious addition here, since both pieces are on the table for the same hours and the linen ground reads consistently between them.
