Description
Crushed velvet paired with a soft suede-like fabric, and genuine Swarovski crystals glistening across the face of it. #625 earns its name honestly — the crystals are distributed for effect rather than clustered in one medallion, so the whole surface catches light instead of a single point on it. The suede-like fabric is the counterweight: matte where the crystals are bright, soft where the velvet is deep.
Four pieces make up the set. The matzah cover carries the Kohein, Levi and Yisrael insert, so each matzah sits in its own compartment for the length of the Seder and nothing needs rearranging between Yachatz and Motzi Matzah. The afikomen bag, the pillow case for haseibah, and a matching hand towel complete it.
The two-fabric construction is worth noting for anyone who has owned an all-velvet set. Velvet alone flattens where hands rest on it over a long night; breaking the surface with a second fabric keeps the set looking right through the second Seder as well as the first.
