Yellow Honeycomb Candles, Hand Rolled
A honeycomb candle is made by rolling a textured wax sheet around a wick by hand, and the finished candle keeps the hexagonal pattern of the sheet across its whole surface. These are the plain yellow ones — the natural comb colour, and the version that looks like exactly what it is.
Rolled candles behave differently from dipped ones. The wax is layered loosely rather than compacted, so they take a match immediately and burn with a bright, soft flame, and they are light enough that a full row of them does not strain a thin candle cup. The rolling also means no two come out looking quite the same.
