Description
Velvet, with genuine Swarovski crystals set into the pattern — the Luxe Collection's #610 design. Crystals on velvet behave differently than crystals on brocade: the nap absorbs light around each stone so they read individually rather than blurring into one field of sparkle. Under Seder candles that is the entire effect, and it is worth the material.
It is made in the 40cm bucherim size only, with one pocket insert included. Forty centimeters is the working size — large enough to cover and separate the matzos properly, with the insert doing the job of keeping the three apart and holding the crumbs inside. There is no kids version of this one; the crystal work puts it at the head of the table.
The #610 design is also made as a challah cover and pairs with a challah board in the same number, so the velvet and crystal treatment can appear every Shabbos rather than one week a year. As a chosson and kallah gift it is among the more substantial pieces in the Pesach range.
