Description
Original cowhide fur against luxurious velvet, with Swarovski elements worked in — the Modd'e line is the modern end of this vendor's Pesach range, and #650 is the velvet version of it. The fur is real hide, not a plush imitation, and putting it next to velvet is what gives the set its texture. Nothing about it looks like the traditional crowned and medallioned Seder sets.
Four pieces come together: the matzah cover with the Kohein, Levi and Yisrael insert so the three matzos stay separated through the Seder, the afikomen bag, a pillow case for haseibah, and a matching hand towel.
The #650 design carries into the rest of the year through challah covers, challah boards, haggadah covers and zemiros booklets. The zemiros booklets are the interesting one — a Shabbos table where the benchers match the challah board and both trace back to the Seder set is a very deliberate look, and this is one of the few designs that supports it.
