Description
Camellia, design #860 — a full flowering motif rather than a single centered medallion, so the pattern fills the panel and stays legible from the far end of a long table. It is one of the more openly decorative faces in the Malchut Pesach range.
Sizing runs 30cm and 40cm. The kids size at 30cm has no insert pockets and is scaled for a child's place setting. The bucherim size at 40cm comes with one pocket insert, and that insert is what keeps the three matzos apart during the Seder and holds their crumbs — which is the whole reason to size up. If this cover is going at the head of the table and being opened and closed all night, take the 40cm.
#860 also exists as a haggadah cover and in the tallis and tefillin bag line, and Malchut builds the number into a four-piece Seder set with an afikomen bag, a pillow case and a hand towel. Starting with the matzah cover and filling in the rest over a few years is how most families get to a matched table.
