Description
Four pieces in leather, all built on the #690 design: the matzah cover, the afikomen bag, the pillow case and a matching hand towel. Leather across an entire Seder set is unusual — most sets run in velvet or brocade — and the effect at the table is a good deal heavier and more architectural than fabric.
The set is sold as one configuration, so there is nothing to specify. What it covers is the full arc of the night: the matzos held under the cover, the afikomen into its own bag to be hidden and brought back, the pillow case dressing the chair for heseiba, and the hand towel there for Urchatz and Rachtzah. Assembling the same four in matching leather one purchase at a time is possible, and it rarely ends up actually matching.
#690 also runs as a challah cover, pairs with a challah board, and is made as a haggadah cover. Adding the haggadah cover in the same leather is the obvious extension, and it is the piece guests actually pick up and handle.
