Description
The #691 design executed in linen across four pieces: matzah cover, afikomen bag, pillow case and hand towel. Linen keeps the whole set matte and quiet, which is a different intention from the leather version of the same idea — this one is meant to sit under the candles rather than in front of them.
It comes as a single four-piece configuration. Each piece has a job through the night: the cover over the matzos, the bag for the afikomen once it is broken and hidden, the pillow case for leaning, and the towel for the two washings. Having all four in one design means the table does not read as four separate decisions made in four different years.
#691 is also made as a challah cover with a matching challah board, and Malchut sells the matzah cover from this number on its own in kids and bucherim sizes. A household that already owns the four-piece set can add a child's 30cm cover in the same linen and keep the whole table consistent as the family grows into it.
