Shana Tova Simanim Card #195 Apple Cutout with a Honey Container
Pickup at both Lakewood stores
Description
An apple and pomegranate cutout, design 195, printed as a bi-fold in matte laminate and measuring three and a quarter inches wide by three high. A hole is cut into the card and a small honey container is supplied with it, which drops into the hole so the honey stands upright at the place setting rather than being passed around the table in a jar.
The honey carries the hashgacha of the Badatz HaEidah HaChareidis of Yerushalayim. Two ordering choices come with it: custom stamping and monogram, each yes or no. A stamped card is what a family orders when the seuda is a large one and they want the year or a name on every place, and it is the reason this turns up so often at organisation dinners and at big family tables on Rosh Hashana.
The small size is deliberate. A Rosh Hashana table is already crowded with simanim, and a card that is compact enough to sit beside a plate without displacing anything is more likely to actually be used than a large standing one. Design 195 also runs on tallis and tefillin bags in the Malchut range.
