Description
Design 217 is the compact tri-fold, four and a quarter inches by six and a third, in a glossy and matte laminate and laid out in the style of a small sefer. It holds the simanim for Rosh Hashana, Kiddush and Birchas Hamazon, which is everything the seuda needs from start to finish.
The size is the reason to choose this one over the larger cards in the same family. A Rosh Hashana table has to accommodate the simanim, the honey, the fish, the challah and everyone's plates, and a seven inch card at every place is more than the table can absorb. At four and a quarter by six and a third the card fits beside a setting without pushing anything else out of the way, and it is still large enough to read comfortably.
Choose Ashkenaz or Edut Mizrach when ordering. This is the card families buy in quantity, twenty or thirty at a time, so that a full table of children, married children and grandchildren each has one in front of them and nobody is reading over a shoulder.
