Description
Design #550 is the non-fitted cover, here in black leather embroidered in gold and light gold. Non-fitted means it lays over the table rather than being cut to it, and it is made to suit most standard menorah tables — which is the whole reason this design exists. If you already own a menorah table and are not looking to replace it, this is the line to be in.
There is no size to select. The cover is designed against the common table dimensions, so it goes over what you have. That flexibility is the trade you make against the tailored corners of the fitted covers, and in exchange you keep the table you are already used to lighting on.
Black with gold thread is the highest contrast of the three #550 colours and the most forgiving across eight nights of oil. Leather takes a wipe at the end of Chanukah and goes back into the closet ready for next year, where a cloth cover would be showing its history by the third or fourth season.
