Description
A lulav and esrog illustrated across the cover, and sixty-four pages behind it. The contents are what make this the booklet to have in the sukkah: Seder Ushpizin, netilas lulav, Seder Hallel, and the Hoshanos for every day of Sukkos, with birchas hamazon included as well. It is a paperback at 3.25 by 4.3 inches.
Having all of Sukkos in one small booklet is the practical point. Most homes end up with a separate sheet for Ushpizin, a machzor for Hallel and something else again for the Hoshanos, and none of them is where it should be when the day starts. This puts the whole sequence in something that lives in the sukkah for the week.
The size also makes it a workable giveaway for a shul that hands out something before Yom Tov, or for a family making a simcha during Sukkos. It is light, it is inexpensive by the box, and it is one of the few Yom Tov souvenirs that gets opened on the day it is meant for rather than shelved.
