White leather-look with an embossed pattern on the cover and gold-edged pages, at 3.5 by 5 inches. Against the white the gold edging reads much more strongly than it does on the brown version of the same siddur, which is the whole reason people choose this one — closed, it looks like something intended to be given rather than bought for yourself.
604 pages hold Shabbos and weekday tefillos plus the Tehillim, so it is a complete siddur despite the size. Choose Ashkenaz, Sefard or Eduth Mizrach for the nusach. The pocket format means it goes into a handbag or a jacket without argument, and the hard leather-look cover keeps its shape there.
The cover can be imprinted, which is why this version is ordered for a kallah, a bas mitzvah, or a set of seminary graduation gifts with each name pressed on the front. For a sheva brachos or a bas mitzvah where everyone at the table goes home with one, white is the version to order.
