Description
A brown siddur in a modern Malchut cover that zips fully closed around three sides. The zip is what distinguishes it from the magnetic-closure siddurim in the same family — nothing gets in, nothing falls out, and the page edges are completely enclosed while it is being carried. The cover itself is plain and contemporary, with no embroidery on it.
Choose the nusach at ordering: Ashkenaz, Sefard or Eduth Mizrach. A zippered siddur is the right choice for anyone whose siddur travels in a backpack or a bag with keys, pens and everything else in it, which in practice means bochurim, schoolchildren and anyone commuting. It is also the version to buy for a siddur that will be used outdoors or in camp.
Design #290 is made up in other Malchut pieces as well — a challah cover and matching prayer booklets carry the same design number — so a Shabbos table and a siddur can be ordered in one pattern. That is a reasonable way to put together a chosson and kallah gift without it looking assembled from three shops.
